1. Disclaimer: Not a Government Entity
Our Services (Website and Apps) are private platforms and are NOT affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any Regional Transport Office (RTO), the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), or the Government of India.
We act solely as an information aggregator. All vehicle and challan data is fetched from publicly available sources on the Parivahan website (https://parivahan.gov.in).
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- "Service" refers collectively to the VahanGo.app website, the VahanGo mobile application, and the Challan Seva/Pay mobile application.
- "User" refers to the individual accessing or using the Service.
- "We", "Us", "Our" refers to the owners, developers (Shree Infotech / VahanGo Team), and operators of the Service.
3. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information:
- Data Source: All data (RC status, Challan details) is retrieved from third-party government servers in real-time or near real-time.
- No Guarantee: We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the data. Government servers may be down, or data may be delayed.
- Liability: We shall not be held liable for any decisions made (e.g., buying a used car) based on the information provided on our platforms. Users are advised to verify details physically or via official RTO counters.
4. Third-Party Payment & Services VahanGo is an informational platform and does not provide financial services, banking, or payment processing directly.
4.1 Challan Payments:
- The "Pay Challan" feature links directly to third-party platforms (such as Cars24) or official government portals. VahanGo does not collect, hold, or settle any funds related to challan payments.
- All payments are processed entirely on the third-party's website.
- VahanGo is not responsible for payment failures, refunds, or settlement delays.
- Any transaction disputes must be raised directly with the third-party service provider (e.g., Cars24 support).
4.2 No Liability for Transactions:
You acknowledge that VahanGo is not a party to any transaction between you and any third-party service provider (including Insurance or Challan payments). We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of these third-party services.
5. Third-Party Services and Affiliates
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Acko Insurance, Cars24, Amazon, Credit Card offers) that are not owned or controlled by us.
- Affiliate Disclosure: We may earn a commission when you click on these links or make a purchase/booking.
- No Responsibility: We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.
- Transaction Liability: Any transaction you enter into with these third parties (e.g., buying an insurance policy) is strictly between you and the third party. We are not liable for any loss or claim arising from such dealings.
6. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or extract data from our App/Website using automated bots or scripts.
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
